This is my submission for our latest pack in spaceartists

Dont you hate when planets get in the way? Youd think theyd be better at dodging.

Anyway, this was made in photoshop 7.0, and the asteroids were rendered, textured, massaged, and loved in 3dsmax.

I know how much you guys like it when things blow up, so here you go. Loveable chaos.

Give it a home on your desktop.

Damn, this piece is great man. The perspective is out of this world, :giggle:, and the asteroids are perfected. I dont think you could have done a better job. :+fav:. Keep up the great work man. Also, check out my gallery, Im a space artist as well. I dont feel you'll be let down.

yay
that is breathtakingly beautiful, just a great job
A wonderful piece!! Nice going, *shirosynth!
If I may make a suggestion, I would add some light at the bottom left hand side of the main planet. To me, it seems a bit strange that its really dark. But that's just what I think.
Good work, again! :worship:

The detail on the asteroids are stunning... they alone are quite impressive! ;) Great sense of motion on the impact site, an the molten rock running through the surface cracks of the planet is a brilliant touch. Great work. :)
